Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 6, 2026

EZClaw (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the managed OpenClaw cloud hosting service available at ezclaw.cloud. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information necessary to provide and improve the EZClaw service:

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name and email address through Clerk, our authentication provider. If you sign up using Google or another OAuth provider, we receive the profile information that provider shares with us.

Payment Information

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. EZClaw does not store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details. We receive and store a Stripe customer ID, your subscription plan type, and billing period dates. All payment data is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.

Deployment Data

We store metadata about your OpenClaw deployments, including the Fly.io application name, region, deployment status, and the messaging platform you connected (e.g., Telegram). We do not store your Telegram bot token after deployment is complete — it is passed securely to your dedicated cloud instance during setup.

Usage Data

We collect anonymized usage analytics through Vercel Analytics to understand how the EZClaw website is used. This includes page views, referrer URLs, and approximate geographic region. No personally identifiable information is included in analytics data.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your account and authenticate you securely.
  • To provision, operate, and maintain your OpenClaw cloud instances on Fly.io.
  • To process subscription payments and manage billing through Stripe.
  • To send transactional emails related to your account or subscription (e.g., payment receipts, service notices). We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.
  • To enforce our Terms of Service and prevent abuse of the Testflight program.
  • To diagnose technical problems and improve the reliability of our infrastructure.
  • To analyze aggregate, anonymized usage patterns to improve the EZClaw product.

3. Your Conversation Data

EZClaw is a hosting and deployment service. We do not have access to the content of conversations you have with your OpenClaw AI assistant. Your messages are processed directly between your OpenClaw instance and the AI provider you selected (OpenAI, Google, or Z.AI). Each OpenClaw instance runs in a dedicated, isolated environment.

Your conversation history may be stored temporarily within your OpenClaw instance according to OpenClaw's own data handling behavior. EZClaw does not read, copy, or analyze your conversation content.

4. Third-Party Services

EZClaw relies on the following third-party services to operate. Each service has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data:

Clerk Authentication and user management
Stripe Payment processing and subscription management
Fly.io Cloud infrastructure for OpenClaw instances
Neon Serverless PostgreSQL database
Vercel Website hosting and analytics

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and deployment data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account:

  • Account data held by Clerk is deleted according to Clerk's retention policy.
  • Your active OpenClaw cloud instances will be terminated and their data destroyed.
  • Stripe may retain billing records for the period required by applicable law (typically 7 years).
  • Anonymized analytics data, which cannot identify you, may be retained indefinitely.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

  • All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher.
  • Database connections use encrypted, authenticated channels.
  • Each OpenClaw instance runs in an isolated environment with no access to other users' instances.
  • Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel only.
  • We do not store sensitive credentials (bot tokens, API keys) in our primary database after deployment.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we use commercially reasonable measures to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable data protection laws, including:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction — request that we correct inaccurate data.
  • Deletion — request that we delete your personal data, subject to legal obligations.
  • Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Objection — object to certain types of processing.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at ezclaw@1nano.tech. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies

EZClaw uses session cookies set by Clerk for authentication. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Vercel Analytics uses privacy-preserving techniques that do not require cookies. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, but doing so will prevent you from logging in to your account.

9. Children's Privacy

EZClaw is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify active subscribers by email. Your continued use of EZClaw after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
